EDUCATING THE PUBLIC
Since 1954, High Plains Water District has been dedicated to educating the public about the importance of water conservation. We offer a wide variety of educational programs and materials designed for all water users. These include adults, agricultural producers, businesses, homeowners, and students of all ages.

WATER AMBASSADORS PROGRAM
HPWD is a proud Signature Sponsor of the 4-H Water Ambassadors Program. The Texas 4-H Water Ambassadors Program allows high school youth to gain advanced knowledge and develop leadership skills related to the science, technology, engineering, and management of water in Texas. If any youth in HPWD’s District gets accepted into the 4-H Water Ambassador Program, HPWD will pay for their program fee for the year after meeting with the family and youth.
